No plans this Labor Day weekend? Tune in Saturday night for the premiere of the BET original movie The Cookout 2, a sequel to 2004's The Cookout. Continuing from where the last film left off, the film follows Todd Anderson (Quran “Storm” Pender) after his expulsion:

Pro basketball player Todd Anderson's life is in shambles when he goes on The Wendy Williams Show to set the record straight after being wrongly kicked out of the league. Todd is ambushed when Wendy hits him with outrageous baby mama drama, fabricated scandals and crazed fans hating on him, all while just trying to tell his side of the story.

Todd breaks down the real drama to Wendy, that Bling Bling's nutty brother, Ashmokeem, kidnapped Todd and his whole family, again, and would do anything to get his brother out of prison, including blackmailing Todd into playing ball in the streetball playoffs.

Featuring an all-star cast that includes Vivica A. Fox, Charlie Murphy, Mike Tyson, Big Boi, Ja Rule, Jay Pharoah, Wendy Williams, Faizon Love, Jalen Rose, Frankie Faison and Michael K. Williams,The Cookout 2 will be the barbecue you don't want to miss. Tune in Saturday, September 3 at 9P/8C to catch all of the laugh-out-loud comedy!
