Finding Justice Grants Program

The BET Networks Finding Justice grants are designed to help your organization implement or expand nimble, proactive initiatives that help advance social justice, with a particular focus on the Black community.

The BET Networks Finding Justice grants are designed to help your organization implement or expand nimble, proactive initiatives that help advance social justice, with a particular focus on the Black community. Launched in partnership with BET’s news docu-series, Finding Justice, the Grants Program was created for 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations who are addressing many of the same issues featured in the show including issues related to: voter suppression, gun violence, cash bail, community policing, environmental justice and education.   

The BET Networks Finding Justice grants can be submitted from March 11th to April 15th at www.bet.com/findingjusticegrants. Up to five (5) organizations will be chosen for an award of up to $20,000 each over the course of the program period. Please refer to the program’s Official Rules for more information.  Here are three major criteria for submissions: 

·         United States Non-Profit Organization

·         Addressing social justice issues with a particular focus on the Black community.

·         Organization’s programs/initiative focus on one or more of the issues addressed in the Finding Justice docu-series including cash bail, voter suppression, gun violence, community policing, environmental justice or education.
