Kevin Hart was born on July 6, 1979, in Philadelphia. The youngest of two boys, Hart was raised by his mother, Nancy, who took on the role of single parent as a result of her husband's chronic battles with cocaine and the law.
Back in 2011, he really got the ball rolling with his Laugh at My Pain tour, which grossed $15 million. Since then, Hart has gone on to big-time Hollywood success. Eventually, ABC took note of the young comedian and gave him his own sitcom,The Big House.
Kevin Hart starred as Shawn, who was a burglar, in his first film, Paper Soldiers, back in 2002.
Earlier this year, Kevin Hart put a ring on his longtime girlfriend Eniko Parrish. We've been following this beautiful couple as they've made power moves together throughout the year.
Kevin Hart continues to inspire the African-American community to take its health more seriously. This summer he released a pair of Nike cross-trainer sneakers, Free Train Instinct Hart.
On top of all of Kevin Hart's major power moves this year, his comedic film What Now? premiered earlier this week.
The director and comedian received the 2,591st star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Monday.
“Hard work pays off… This is just the beginning people. I’m inspired &motivated to do so much more. The last name HART will have a powerful meaning when it’s all said and done!!! The road to making the world laugh continues …Let’s make History this weekend damn it!!!!,” Hart posted on Instagram.
He credits his success largely in part to his team, writing, “You can’t do it by yourself…you need a team that believes in you & in your vision. I have that in my friends/brothers…We are more focused now than we have ever been.”
During one of last season’s episodes of RHOH, Hart joked around with the idea of getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Clearly, this man is turning his jokes into reality. We’re looking forward to continuing to watch this man’s hustle.
