Anderson .Paak, like many other artists, started in the church. We guess you might say this was the beginning of his rebellious stage, which seems to have taken him far in life.
There was a moment in his life when he was working at a marijuana farm in Santa Barbara in order to support his wife and child. Unfortunately, he was let go without warning and became homeless.
Back in 2011, .Paak started making his mark in the music world. Sa-Ra worked to help lift .Paak out of his financial struggles. The group gave him a job as an assistant.
Back in 2013 Anderson .Paak produced Cover Art, a mixture of some of his favorite albums combined. The hit project captured a lot of attention.
.Paak had a true come-up earlier this year when Dr. Dre took note of his talent and signed him.
In 2014, Anderson Paak released Venice his debut album, a dope project full of funk and soul.
At the beginning of this year, Malibu, Anderson's follow up to Venice, was all anyone was playing.
Apparently, Anderson has a project in the works with Flying Lotus. We're waiting patiently to hear this collaboration.
Anderson .Paak is providing our generation with vibes that can't be matched. We might even add he has a bit of the same flair that Prince had.
