A few weeks ago, news broke that iconic rap group Dipset would reunite during the fourth show of Rap Caviar Live's six-city tour. On Tuesday (Nov. 14, 2017), the group released the track "Once Upon a Time," where they share old hip-hop stories that had many of us wondering when/if they'll share more.

The rap heavyweights will join another MC set, A$AP Mob, on Nov. 21, 2017, during their performance at the Rap Caviar Live Tour.

On Wednesday (Nov. 15, 2017) the "Come on a Cone" femcee proved that her imposter could do it just as well as she could on the cover of PAPER Magazine's Winter 2017 issue. Dripped mostly in custom pink latex, Nicki Minaj is shown participating in a “Minaj à Trois” along with two other versions of herself.

The magazine contains a 16-page editorial styled by the Queen Barb and photographed by the iconic Ellen von Unwerth where the rapper is literally feeling herself

New York rapper Lil Peep was found dead by his manager, Mikey Cortex, who found him The Rock club in Tucson, Arizona, around 9:40 p.m. No official autopsy has reported the cause of death, but law officials noted that the rapper was surrounded by drug paraphernalia (namely Xanax), which leads them to allude to the fact that he may have had a drug overdose.

We wish his family, friends and others who may have been touched by the MC that flawlessly blended hip-hop and dmo our sincere condolences.

To some of us, Kendrick Lamar is the epitome of what an MC should be. You can imagine how some may have been surprised to find out that the lyricist also co-signed "mumble rap."

In an interview with Forbes for its 30 Under 30 Issue, K. Dot divulged that he tells younger emcees that he comes into contact with this: "I tell them every time I see them... be yourself and do what you do but also know who laid down the groundwork." Illustrating that while he supports these artists, he also urges them to respect the culture of hip-hop by knowing its roots.

Just as rapper Meek Mill seemed to be walking on the right path in his career, a Philadelphia judge sentenced him to two to four years in prison for multiple violations of his probation last week.

On Monday (Nov. 13, 2017), hundreds of protesters reportedly rallied in support of Meek and against what they felt was a rigid punishment and the unfair justice system in comparison to the way others may be reprimanded for crimes.

Meek's sentence begs many questions, one main question being: Why is the American justice system so unfair to African-Americans

Be sure to catch the season one finale of Tales on Saturday, November 25 at 9/8C.
