    Cedric the Entertainer is an American actor, comedian, director and game show host. He has served as the host of It's Showtime at the Apollo, BET's Comic View during the 1993-1994 season and Def Comedy Jam in 1995.

    Cedric is also known for co-starring with Steve Harvey on The WB sitcom The Steve Harvey Show, Eddie in the Barbershop films and being one of The Original Kings of Comedy
