Brittany Daniel's Struggle With Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma

In 2011, Brittany Daniel was diagnosed with stage 4 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. She is now talking about the experience.

Kelly Pitts might be back on The Game, but the actress who plays her was on a long road to recovery before it came to fruition.

Brittany Daniel, the gorgeous actress who portrays Jason Pitts's complicated ex-wife, revealed in a People magazine article that she was diagnosed with stage 4 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma back in 2011. Along with the article is a video segment in which Daniel opens up about what transpired after the diagnosis and how she was able to overcome the cancerous disease.

"My mom took care of me for like a year and a half. And my family is everything to me. I feel like they saw me through this," she says.

Nonetheless, Daniel was able to bounce back from the ordeal and has found herself back on The Game once again. On the last episode, Kelly Pitts made her highly anticipated return much to the delight of fans everywhere.

"To be off and then get the call from the show's creator, Mara Brock Akil, that I was welcome back ... was really such an exciting thing," she gushes in the same video.
