The lovely and multi-talented Teyana Taylor has been working in the industry for a minute. She first caught some of our eyes at the tender age of 16, where we were exposed to her bright personality and even brighter vocal ability. Another set of us found out about her talent via Kanye West's "Fade" video.
It's safe to say that Teyana's a household name now and we can't keep our eyes and minds off of her for one second.
We thought it'd be helpful to share all the places you'll see this inventive artist next year. Get familiar below.
Coming to BET, Hit the Floor takes us inside the locker room of the Devil Girls, the dancers who support top tier pro basketball team the Los Angeles Devils. Word surfaced earlier this year that Teyana would join the cast of the cheerleader drama. While details about her specific role have not been revealed, we nominate her to play the newest Devil Girl on the scene. We know from her appearance in Kanye's "Fade'"that she'll have no problem heating up the screen and busting moves Bring It On style.
Be sure to watch BET and check BET.com for exclusive updates.
This comedy, co-produced by Russell Simmons, is the first scripted series for Live Nation Productions. Teyana will star opposite Blair Underwood (remember when he was Jada Pinkett Smith's love interest in Set It Off?), French Montana, Wiz Khalifa and a host of other actors.
Let's face it, Teyana can dance her wig off! Can you say "No brainer"? Having choreographed "Ring the Alarm" for Beyoncé, Teyana deserves to showcase her Janet Jackson-esque dance moves. Although there are no specific details on who her character is, we do know, according to IMDB, that her character's name is Skyler, which means the sky's only the beginning for TeTe.
On October 1, 2016, Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert tied the knot. The internet went into a frenzy after being able to only get a tiny glimpse of the beautiful couple. Then the couple made us melt with their shenanigans. Whether they were busy winning Halloween or were just letting us share in their love. We enjoyed it all.
Now we are all being gifted the opportunity to see inside their everyday lives with their own reality series set to air on VH1. To add the icing on the cake, the couple has allowed their daughter to be part of the series.
