Wait Until You See the Obama Family’s New $5.3 Million Mansion

Upgrade from the White House or nah?

Published May 25, 2016

Started from the White House, now they’re here.

According to reports, the Obama family has finally begun the big move out from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

In January, President Obama, Michelle, Malia and Sasha will lease an opulent home in Kalorama, D.C. The 8,200 square-foot mansion is worthy of an Architectural Digest feature. With nine bedrooms and eight-and-a-half bathrooms, the pad is rumored to be worth $5.3 million. The home was previously owned by President Bill Clinton's White House Press Secretary Joe Lockhart and his wife, Giovanna Gray.

The first family decided to stay in Washington until Sasha finishes high school at the prestigious Sidwell Friends. All we can say is decorating will be a treat and a journey, especially with all that space! And despite President Obama’s term coming to an end, it's nice to know the Obamas won't be leaving the nation’s capital anytime soon.
