Coming off the heels of Erykah Badu's twitter rant regarding what girls should be allowed to wear in school, Elle Varner added in her two cents with a very controversial Instagram post that has women all over giving her the biggest side-eye.

The singer posted a photo of a school sign detailing what girls shouldn't wear to school as it can be viewed as a "distraction," to which she accompanied it with a lengthy response.

"We have grown women out here promoting 'slut' culture and validating their personal choices and actions behind phrases like 'slut shaming' etc," she writes.

Unfortunately for Varner, her sentiments were not widely felt. Soon after, her comments under the photo were filled with women defending their right to wear whatever it is they choose. Some women even expressed thoughts of no longer supporting the R&B singer.
