Sunday was a big day for NBA player Iman Shumpert. He not only helped his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, clinch the championship with a historic win, it was also his first time celebrating Father's Day as a dad himself. A big day like that deserves a big gift, and his fiancée Teyana Taylor didn't disappoint.
Taylor gave her man, and father of her baby girl, a hilarious daddy starter kit, with one comically large surprise. In preparation for the NBA Finals' Game 7, the young family decided to celebrate the special day in a hilarious and loving way.
In a video posted by Taylor to Instagram, Shumpert is seen unfolding what seems to be a tacky, colorful oxford shirt, a pair of khaki shorts, and some other dad necessities. He laughs, "I got straight daddy gear."
Taylor then tells him, "Look at the drawers, though. Open the drawers."
As Shumpert reveals the massive pair of tighty-whities, he lets out a yelp of surprise and joy at the beach towel-sized underpants.
Taylor then told Shumpert she also got him an iPhone case and a Bluetooth vernier, telling him, "Every dad needs one."
This family had a very special Father's Day, with Shumpert playing an important role in bringing a championship to Cleveland for the first time in over five decades. But we're sure he'll treasure the underpants most of all.
