Kanye West announced his intentions to shake up the New York Fashion Week calendar again, promising to premiere his Yeezy Season 4 collection on the first day of shows. Most designers have their show day and times recorded in a very specific and intricate calendar, months before the Fashion Week madness begins, but in true Kanye style, the rapper cum designer does what he wants. So instead of showing on the same day and time every season, Ye just decides when he wants to show and everyone follows. While he doesn’t have an album dropping this time, we can still expect the show to be as lavish and over the top as his Yeezy Season 3 debut and subsequent The Life of Pablo release at Madison Square Garden.
Rumor has it that Yeezy might be designing a kids-only collection and that is what we can expect for Season 4, but we just want to put it out there right now that we hope North makes an appearance since Kanye has used the fam as models before and now that Kylie is the face of Puma, we might need a replacement.
If you are a Yeezy fiend and can’t make it until September 7, get excited because Kanye West also announced that he will launch one weekend of global pop-up shops with his now infamous merch, which is good news since it's considerably cheaper than anything he shows on runway.
