Peak African pride.

Lupita Nyong'o always turns out on the red carpet, but she outdid even her own fabulous self with her ensemble for the world premiere of Queen of Katwe

The Mexican-born actress of Kenyan descent was peak African pride in a stunning blue and yellow Carolina Herrera gown and cobalt blue traditional head wrap.

Just as queenly were her $600,000 worth of jewels. Could it possibly get any better than this?

Her co-star David Oyelowo also got into the spirit, looking positively regal in his black-and-gold embroidered jacket.

Twitter, clearly, was 100% here for it:

It's wonderful to see two of the biggest and most respected stars in Hollywood represent for the motherland.
