Whoopi Goldberg has been making bold statements with fashion since before many of us were born, but she took her game to a new level of cool today when she strolled onto the set of The View in a red Vetements hoodie.
The Parisian streetwear brand favored by Generation Z celebrities (like Kim Kardashian and North West) and cool kids around the world is also apparently a favorite of the 60-year-old Oscar winner. But if you think this is just the idea of a 20-something stylist, consider the fact that Goldberg was a front row fixture at some of the hottest shows in New York Fashion Week, like Hood By Air, Thom Browne and Opening Ceremony.
Twitter's reaction to Whoopi rocking the $1200 football-shoulder hooded cotton-blend sweatshirt is pretty much all of us:

If style moments like these keep coming, we might need to start tuning in to The View just to keep up.
