Looking to lose some weight? Amber Rose has the perfect solution: Dance it off.
The talk show host and emoji muva recently said that since she’s been on this season of Dancing With the Stars, she’s dropped some pounds after just two weeks of training and performing on the show.
“I feel like I'm getting super toned,” the 32-year-old mother recently said on her Loveline With Amber Rose podcast. “I feel like I've lost probably 10 pounds, maybe eight pounds already. It's serious.”
While from the outside, it may look like dancing isn’t that strenuous, but Rose stresses that couldn’t be further from the truth.
“People don't understand how much work goes into it,” she said, adding, “You're with your partner four to five hours a day. Then you get home, you're on the phone with them, like, what you need to work on, what you need to do. Then you go to the ballroom and it's all the other celebrities and other dancers — it really is like a family.”
Most imporant, she's having a lot of fun, especially being paired with professional Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
“I'm having the time of my life, I love my partner,” she gushed.
And she’s dancing with everyone in her life, including Beverly Hills plastic surgeon and homie Ashkan Ghavami MD.
Now Rose isn’t the only celeb that swears that being on DWTS has helped get their bodies in tip-top shape. Rapper Lil’ Kim, reality star Kim Kardashian and Glee actress Amber Riley all lost serious inches during their past stints on the ABC show.
Granted the rest won't ever be chosen for the show, but that doesn’t mean we can’t reap its weight-loss benefit. We suggest trying these at-home dance workouts.
