Paris Fashion Week is officially underway. With the Fenty x Puma show yesterday and Olivier Rousteing assembling his #BalmainArmy in full formation today, Rihanna and Kim Kardashian are at the forefront of the fashion frenzy. There was something we noticed though...Kim had on an outfit that looked oddly similar to one that Rihanna wore to her Fenty x Puma launch at Bergdorf's a few weeks ago.
When Kim Kardashian stepped out in lingerie, which has been her signature as of late, no one would have noticed anything except for the fact that this time she donned her sheer lacy bodysuit with a pair of tear-away sweatpants. This '90s staple has made a major comeback, thanks in part to Rihanna featuring a sexed-up version in her first Fenty x Puma collection. Ironically enough, Rihanna also wore the version of her own design to the launch of her line at Bergdorf Goodman.
We will never deny that both women are trendsetters in their own right. But this is the age of the internet, so whoever is first gets all the credit. Unfortunately, the Navy, one of the more ferocious fan communities, noticed the similarities today.
The Navy posted the photo of Kim and suggested that she looking "very Fenty." You can decide for yourself if RiRi's response is throwing shade but we think she's probably more flattered than anything.
Rihanna seems amused by the comparison at the very least.

For the past 10 years, Yusef has been dictating all of the beauty trends we emulate via his most famous client, none other than Rihanna. He started out his career as a performer, but he ended up behind the scenes. In Hairstory, he details his rise in the industry from aspiring singer to creative directing the hair for Fenty x Puma.
