Mike Colter stars as Marvel’s sexy, bullet-proof superhero known as Luke Cage. All 13 episodes of the Netflix original series are available for streaming starting September 30.

This new photo book shows Misty Copeland, the first African-American female principal dancer in the famed American Ballet Theatre, in her element. The dancer is the pinnacle of strength, athleticism, beauty and grace with every exquisite image taken by photographer Greg Delman. Fun fact: The iconic ballerina did her own hair and makeup for all the photos in the book.

  5. Mac x Selena

Celebrate Hispanic heritage month (September 15–October 15) with a new lippie from the limited-edition MAC x Selena line! Pay homage to the late Tejano music legend by purchasing “Como La Flor,” a brilliant red, or one of the other shades inspired by the artist's real life beauty looks. The fourth studio album form the singer is here! The 21-track body of work written by the singer herself took almost four years to complete, but the end result is well worth the wait. The project features special guests Lil Wayne, Kelela, Q-Tip, The-Dream, Dev Hynes, Kelly Rowland. See her video for “Don’t Touch My Hair” here.

One-hundred percent of profits from every bottle sold will be donated to Ralph Lauren’s Pink Pony Fund, a worldwide initiative to fight against Breast Cancer. Plus, with notes of Bergamot, jasmine and ginger, you’ll smell just as good as you feel. Available for a limited time this month at Macys.com  and RalphLauren.com.

Kale is so big now it even has its own holiday that falls on Wednesday, October 5 this year. What better way to celebrate than by combining a healthy treat like kale chips with the flavor of the season, pumpkin spice? OK, maybe that doesn’t sound as appetizing as we thought but for $5, we’d give Sprouts Organic Pumpkin Spice Kale Chips a try.
