Don’t we all kind of want to dress like Cookie Lyon? The woman has inspired countless editorials, Halloween costumes and even just day-to-day style. She’s constantly covered in fur and dripping with jewels, and not to mention her wig game is on point. I mean, who goes to prison for seventeen years and comes out looking this good?
While Cookie is sadly fictitious (although Taraji P. Henson is blessedly real), and thanks to G by Guess, you can look just like her. The Guess brand extension has launched a new Empire-inspired collection, Empire x GBG, with Cookie-style garments for the ladies and Hakeem-esque looks for gentlemen — or whoever, really.
The collection features a number of tops, bombers, dresses and jewelry, mostly rendered in black and gold. It’s all pretty glam, but the price is right — the clothes top out at $109.99 for said bomber jackets. Although Lyon family patriarch Lucious Lyon may be a sociopath, we think he might deserve his own collection for next time around. It's undeniable that his look is iconic.
