Amber Rose announced yesterday that she is taking a social media break—yea sound familiar? If you’re experiencing a case of déjà vu, it’s because Kim Kardashian did it first. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has been on a social media sabbatical ever since her Paris robbery in early October, but looks like even in the midst of her PTSD she’s still managed to spark a new trend.
On Monday (Nov. 28), Amber shared a video on Instagram informing followers that she will be taking a break from all things social media for the rest of the year (aka December). While it seems Muva’s intentions seem to be focused on enjoying the holidays with her family, this isn’t the first time she’s been one step behind Kim. Remember, Kimoji was a thing before MuvaMoji ever was.
Rosebuds and Rosestuds, can at least look forward to the “cool stuff” Amber promised her assistant Joe will post until her return. Eerily enough, Kim's assistant Steph Shep has taken over her posting duties for the duration of her social media silence. Regardless of who did it first, it’s unlikely Mrs. West will be making a return anytime soon with her hubby Kanye West still hospitalized for his erratic behavior, and without Kimmy or Muva on the scene who will we keep up with?
Comment below on who you’ll be social media stalking while Kim Kardashian and Amber Rose are both off the grid.
