Though it doesn’t air until December 5, last night marked the taping of the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which was held in Paris for the first time. In its usual spectacular fashion, the show featured supermodels in underwear and iron-wrought wings that are likely twice their body weight. Of course, there were also the major performers. There was Bruno Mars in a fur coat and Louboutin heels, Lady Gaga and The Weeknd. The "Starboy" crooner's appearance also led to one slightly awkward incident…
The Weeknd crooned his hit single “Starboy” as ex Bella Hadid strolled on by. The whole interaction is perhaps best summed up in this meme:
The Weeknd (born Abel Tesfaye) and Hadid ended things earlier in November, so the breakup's pretty fresh. But according to Hadid, who was making her debut in the VS show, it’s all good. "This is his second year performing, and I think he's going to kill it,” she told E! News. "There is no awkwardness. He is my best friend, and I am excited because I am walking during his performance."
The Victoria’s Secret people planned that on purpose, right? Brilliant.
