Last night, Chanel hosted its annual Métiers d’Art fashion show at the Ritz Paris. As you might imagine, it was a super glamorous affair — the theme was "Paris Cosmopolite," which kind of tells you everything you need to know. The show marked the Chanel debuts of models Selah Marley and Sofia Richie, who is clearly having quite a moment. And Les Twins, the incredible French dancers who Beyoncé loves, were also on deck. But the show featured an especially major celebrity, Pharrell Williams, making his catwalk debut. And OMFG, his outfit.
Pharrell was resplendent in a tweed coat and pearls, aka the most iconic Chanel look. He even wore a teeny tiny jewel-encrusted gold hat, a contrast to his famous Arby’s situation. While he’s been a face of Chanel for a while, it was awesome to see him featured in a show.
In other music news, Willow Smith performed at the event. She played a song called “November 9,” written after the presidential election. Check it out below.
