After the success of last year’s '90s inspired GUESS Originals x A$AP Rocky capsule collection, the rapper has teamed up with the label once again to bring us an all-new line. Like its predecessor, “Guess Club” features the collaboration’s signature stripes and steals inspo from the Guess archives. However, unlike the first collection that was primarily unisex, A$AP is doing this one mainly for the ladies (although there are some dope unisex oversized ringer tees and baggy denim jackets featuring the iconic GUESS triangle logo). Many pieces are exclusively for women and come in a range of jewel tones perfect for spring.
"When it came to this collection, I wanted to bridge the gap between youth and the past generations of GUESS. EITHER U IN OR U OUT,” says the rapper.
“GUESS Club plays off the traditional clubhouse infrastructure, from the color ways to the products, even down to the passwords, this capsule collection displays the Manchild within myself A$AP Rocky; so have fun kids."
Expect classic hits such as high- and low-rise bell-bottom jeans in light to medium washes and oversized denim jackets. And we can already see the logo tees emblazoned with “$” in “GUE$$” across the front as a nod to the rapper becoming a favorite.
Led by A$AP Rocky, the visuals for the campaign were shot and directed by his creative group, AWGE. “Rocky’s artistic vision has revitalized these iconic silhouettes with unexpected colors, designs and patterns,” says GUESS founder and Chief Creative Officer Paul Marciano.
