British Airways Announces Flights to Europe for $110

Well, if you're trying to distract us from Brexit, it's working.

Published March 20, 2017

We think it's fair to say that, in this political climate, everyone could use a damn vacation — especially one that gives us a break from our woes Stateside.

British Airways has heard our pleas. The airliner will soon start offering flights from Barcelona to LA to the Dominican Republic for just $100 (roughly equivalent to its £86 quote). Catch us packing our bags faster than you can say "what in vacation?" (Insert cowboy emoji here.)

This change in strategy comes as smaller airlines are capitalizing on trips with low fares.

"IAG has clearly been concerned by the competition and decided ‘'if you can’t beat them, try to join them,' Emma Coulhurst of TravelSupermarket said.

No word yet on when this will go into effect, but we'll be sure to update you as more information becomes available.
