You can’t fake a glow like Jennifer Lopez’s, or can you? Apparently, the ageless beauty has been doing just that all along and we just didn’t know it. Makeup maven Mary Phillips, a key member of J.Lo’s glam squad for her shows in Las Vegas, recently gave her followers the scoop on the how to glow like the superstar. “Faking the funk,” as Mary puts it, involves body makeup and lots of blending.
Mary credits La Mer’s body crème and foundations to morphing Jennifer into a bronzed goddess. The ultra-hydrating crème helps “diminish visible signs of aging to reveal a more youthful vitality,” so that explains why the 47-year-old entertainer appears to be Benjamin Button-ing on us. While she doesn’t specify, we have a feeling Mary mixes in the foundation to create the what she calls “body makeup.”
The brush by elite makeup brush brand Artis is designed to fit comfortably in the palm of the hand, making it easier for complete body coverage. Its super-soft fibers are the reason for Jennifer’s streak-fee faux tan.
These might not be Jenny from the block prices, but getting that coveted glow is priceless.
