Iggy Azalea Claims Twerking Helped Her Lose 15 lbs in One Week

It's no secret that rapper Iggy Azalea loves twerking. She's been known to show off her (ass)ets in music videos, but she just brought her love to a whole 'nother level. The queen of appropriation claims she lost 15 pounds in one week while prepping for her latest music video, "Mo' Bounce," and according to her, it's all from twerking. 

Iggy revealed that she had some help with achieving said "Bounce": “I did take classes. I do have someone who is very, very good at twerking, and she helped me. I never realized how flexible you have to be to do that stuff.”

We're extremely here for working out and self care, and though this is a method you can try at home, don't expect to lose 15 pounds in one week. First of all, we're pretty sure that's impossible and second, even if it is possible, it's just not healthy. Doctors have confirmed that if you're dieting, the most sustainable amount to lose is one to two pounds a week — any more, and you're likely to gain it back super quickly. 

Though we'd all like there to be a shortcut to getting the perfect summer bod, unfortunately there's no fast track to losing weight healthily.
