Rihanna is redefining what it means to be a multi-hyphenate. The singer-designer-philanthropist-perfumer just announced another collaboration with Manolo Blahnik that is sure to launch a million Instagrams. The collection, called "So Stoned," is decidedly on brand for the bad gal. I mean, who else could suggest to the folks at MB, known for their prim and proper designs, to name a capsule after the devil's lettuce? No one else but RiRi, of course.
We actually unknowingly got a preview of the "Poison Ivy" design in the new "Wild Thoughts" video. Rih brought the heat in an Alberta Ferretti dress (that can be yours for $1,228!) that unsurprisingly looks way better on her than the model. (Bye, body shamers!!!) The gladiator-like sandals added an extra oomph to the fit.
It would appear as though the big mood for this new collection is Lucite and bejeweled sandals. We're not mad at it. The sparkle factor has us wondering, has her collection with Chopard inspired/influenced this new #RihannaxManolo collab? Hear us out. The #RihannaLovesChopard high-end line features complex precious stone designs that would honestly complement this new #SoStoned line very well. One of the many dope things about RiRi is that she could literally construct a whole fit based off her merch and collabos and look insanely good in it.
The new line drops July 6. Will you be copping?
