It was a family affair for the Harveys at the Dolce & Gabbana show this weekend. While Lori, Amanda and Jason Harvey walked in the shows, Steve and Marjorie used the opportunity to join in on the fun with a jaunt to Italy. When in Palermo!

Dolce & Gabbana presented two shows this weekend, Alta Sartoria, which was a menswear show, and Alta Moda, a womenswear show. Both occasions catered to 430 couture clients, dubbed "super shoppers" by, in a presentation of "couture-but-beyond iteration of idealized Italian-ness." Just last month, D&G's menswear show saw the introduction of #BoycottD&G T-shirts on the runway (which retail for $245) with a subsequent surprise: an actual protest courtesy of Raury, who found out shortly before he was due down the runway that D&G gladly dresses Melania Trump and were mocking the very idea of a boycott of its brand.

This show was decidedly less political. There were no mentions of the said boycott shirt and no actual boycotts inspired by it. Coincidentally, the decision to keep politics out of these shows was also beneficial to the Harveys. In December, Steve fired off criticisms of Snoop Dogg, T.I. and Bow Wow in defense of Donald Trump after Harvey had already taken a meeting with Trump, much to the dismay of the internet and anyone with half a brain.

“The problem with all this is that there is an office in this country called the ‘president,’ and you have to respect the office. You really do. Whether you want to or not. You have to respect the office. They got laws,” Harvey said at the time

Politics, or lack thereof, aside, the sumptuous couture garments were drool-worthy. It was Lori's fourth time gracing the D&G runway, and this season's look did not disappoint, as seen above. Jason has also walked D&G before. Amanda, Jason's wife, walked in Alta Moda, too. It is commonplace for D&G to cast Instagram-bait celebrity spawn in its shows, and these two shows followed suit with this tactic.

Lori's fiance, Memphis Depay, was also in Italy for the event. The pair just recently got engaged, but he seemed to fit in seamlessly with the family, playing a game of 1-on-1 on a yacht, as one does, with Marjorie and her custom D&G soccer ball.

Hard to deny that the Harveys make a strong case for highbrow, highly Instagrammable family fun. Looks like a good time was had by all.
