The "Insecure" star is a certified Pilates instructor.

Lawrence is certainly on all of our s**t lists since his savage move at the end of the Insecure Season 2 premiere, but when you separate Lawrence from Jay Ellis, you'll see that he's actually not that bad. It's obvious that he is without a doubt sexy AF, but being more than meets the eye certainly rings true when it comes to him.

This hottie is more than a hottie, but an actual man of substance. In his spare time, he rides motorcycles for thousands of miles with the Kiehl's LifeRide for amfAR for HIV/AIDS awareness. He also frequently volunteers at the Children's Hospital in Los Angeles, putting smiles on all the young faces there. But the icing on the cake is that he is a certified Pilates instructor. Yes, you read it right. The 35-year-old actor teaches 20 hours worth of classes a year.

Ellis took on this business venture with a friend, and teaches the classes at his fitness studio body + in Lafayette, Louisiana.

"We just built a new studio space that we own," he revealed to xonecole. "To keep our insurance, I have to be trained in Pilates and I teach a minimum number of hours every year. I teach about 20 hours annually, which is probably one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life because it's so much core strength that I thought I had, but these women are in class kicking my a**! They're making it look effortless while I'm literally shaking the entire time! But it's been amazing and a lot of fun."

These days, Ellis is taking his career into his own hands. We all know he's one of the stars on Insecure, but he is also producing two films on the side and working with non-profit organizations like Everyday People Inituating Change (E.P.I.C). But back to that Pilates class — sign us up!
