Rihanna is not *technically* the female lead star in blockbuster thriller Valerian, but that has not stopped her from dressing the part at the film's international premieres. At last week's Los Angeles premiere, she went full princess in this pink, party-in-the-back Giambattista Valli confection. Last night's London premiere saw RiRi dressed in yet another oufit fit for royalty, though she traded up pretty pink in favor of a fire engine red mono look.
Outfitted in another Giambattista Valli masterpiece, Rih paired her gown with Chopard jewelry and a Jimmy Choo clutch. Her gelled-hair look brought a modern twist to her otherwise classic glam, leading some to compare her likeness to that of the Mona Lisa.
If Rihanna is truly the gospel of fashion like we know she is, this look proves that the mono trend will continue to take hold in the foreseeable future. Fine by us — with the way it fosters regal matchy-matchy looks such as this one, we're all in.
What will she wear to the next Valerian premiere? Could she possibly rock a princess gown in every city? We'll continue to keep you updated on all of RiRi's outfits.
