She's anything but "insecure" in these photos.

Issa Rae has taken the world by storm with her HBO hit Insecure. Viewers not only love the show, but they just love Issa. Plain and simple. With her newfound fame and glory Issa Rae is in the media much more lately.

In her most recent spread with Hannah Magazine, Issa channeled her inner Missy Elliott, and it's safe to say she nailed it.

Missy Elliott loves to rock a dad cap and some trendy athletic wear, which is what makes these recreations so great. Issa was styled by Wayman and Micah, and the dynamic duo kept it fun and true to the legend's vibe.

That's not even the best part. Check this out, Missy Elliott saw the photos and gave Issa a shout out on Twitter! See what Missy tweeted her below:

This isn't Issa's only recent magazine spread though. In case you can't get enough of her (most people can't) you can catch Issa in Cosmopolitan, too. She talks to Cosmo about her sex scenes on her hit show:

"For HBO, we have so much license to show Black people loving and f*cking. Why wouldn’t we take advantage of that? We don’t get to see Black lust in a normalized and natural way that isn’t hypersexualized. Young Black people have sex. Sometimes it’s good sex, sometimes it’s bad sex, sometimes it’s revenge sex. There’s so many different facets. It’s such a privilege to show that and it feels so real. The writer in me is always excited to write those scenes. The performer is like, 'Oh, shit. Why the f*ck did I write this because I got to do it?'"
