Gabrielle Union created a line with New York & Company and it launched in stores and online yesterday!
Union is currently the face of the retailer’s 7th Avenue line, which is inspired by her role on Being Mary Jane. Fortunately, we were able to get the down low from our very own Mary Jane about the inspo behind her new “Gabrielle Union” collection for the brand and here’s what she had to say.
The collection was inspired by her “actual real life” closet and includes pieces such as “drop crotch jogger pants” and, according to Union, prints that don’t give her “anxiety!” The star also explained that every look within the collection has a “moment,” referring to the printed kimono, black harem pant and slightly cropped tee as the “Niecey” for the younger girls.
Overall, Union says the collection is “very inclusive” and that “every girl is represented” in the line. Just so you have some feelers in the diversity of the product, check out a few of the styles below! We’re sure it will go fast, but if you find things are sold out, don’t worry. The brand restocks quickly, so stay loyal!
