Taraji P. Henson was not only the host for BET’s Black Girls Rock! show that aired tonight, apparently she’s also a chameleon cause girl was serving lewks! The hostess with the mostess gave us life the entire night thanks to stylist Jason Bolden, hair gawd Tym Wallace, and MUA Ashunta Sheriff. Between her glam squad and her ever-present black girl magic, she slayed each one.
And with each stunning ensemble came a fresh beat and a new do’. Her hair swaps were especially impressive. She went from a cropped cut to big waves to a lob in one night! Her opening monologue she talk about the power behind Black women’s hair and what that meant to her.
Taraji wore a blue David Koma FW17 RTW dress on the red carpet at Black Girls Rock! and killed it.
Taraji stepped onto the stage in another David Koma number that glistened as she sashayed her way to present.
This satin jumpsuit and big wavy hair gave us total 70s bombshell vibes.
This lacey frock by Galia Lahav oozed class and sophistication while her leather waist belt kept it sexy.
