Nothing gets between us and our morning cup of coffee — but did you know you can use it to tint your brows? We didn’t either.
In case you didn’t know, coffee grounds do make a mean (but messy) body scrub, helping reduce the look of cellulite and eliminating dry skin. But that’s not what this post is about.
Yesterday, beauty blogger Atreona Willis, aka @curvy_cartel, took DIY to new levels and made a mix of gravy (yes, the kind you cook with), coffee and conditioner to make her brows pop.
Peep the how-to video below:
Brow tinting is great for those who want to beef up sparse brows, enhance the shape and eliminate the need for daily fill-ins with powder (or pencil). Consider this a mini-time saver if you want to ensure your brows are #onfleek 24/7.
Other beauty websites suggest a mix of coffee grounds, cocoa powder, honey and coconut oil as the perfect tinting recipe. But hey, to each her own. She got the results she wanted, am I right?
While there is a method to the madness, we couldn’t stop laughing at @iamzoie’s hilarious take on the beauty tutorial. We feel you, we weren’t sure where Atreona was taking this one for a minute.
The question remains — with eyebrow tinting costing $20+ a session (at least in NYC), would you try this DIY hack? Hit us in the comments below.
