Part of celebrity marketing is the idea that the advertisement should be believable.
Miss Kimberly Kardashian West had a misstep yesterday related directly to this. It all began with a Sugar Bear vitamin plug. The KarJenners have long plugged the electric blue gummies that promise swift hair growth, so at first glance, it seemed par for the course.
But the gag is, she promoted the gummy vites while wearing a wig! Oh, Kim.
Social media was quick to call her on it, though.
Something tells us this doesn't ruffle Kimberly's feathers in the slightest. Mad as we may be, she's still perched in a giant, minimalist mansion somewhere in the Hollywood Hills counting her coins.
In fact, she might have just taken a page out of #proudmama Kris Jenner's book for this one. You may recall that, back in June, Kris promoted the benefits of a teatox...with an extremely Photoshopped pic of her body.
We've said it once, we'll say it again: don't buy products just because they have a celeb co-sign.
