See The Shocking Hair Color That Has Zonnique, Keyshia Ka’oir And Alexis Skyy All Twinning

Grey is in! It's the hair color that has everyone twinning

Spring 2018 might have officially started yesterday (March 20), but we already are getting a sense that gray ombré/gray strands are going to make a big splash this season! Hear us out...

While not new—celebs like Rihanna, Rita Ora, Kylie Jenner and Sevyn Streeter donned silvery-gray looks in the past—it’s having a resurgence thanks to Zonnique Pullins, Keyshia Ka'oir and Alexis Skyy. All three ladies have been caught twinning within a week.

See for yourself below:

Interested in trying it for yourself? Turns out cool gray tones are the most flattering. “Whether you have a medium or dark complexion, the high contrast and golden undertones will go well with a blue or violet based gray/silver hue," celeb stylist Cynthia Alvarez previously shared with StyleCaster.

She suggest rocking wigs and/or extensions since you’ll have to bleach first, which can be quite damaging to delicate strands. “If you’re already a blonde, you’re half way there!” add Cynthia whose current clients include Dascha Polanco, Anika Noni Rose, Angie Martinez and Rachel Lindsay.

“[The process] is less damaging since the lightening process doesn’t have to be as intense,  however dark haired girls are in for a lengthier process,” she says. “Heat styling should be kept at a minimum once your hair is gray,” she adds. “The heat from the tools can fade the color prematurely and your hair will need a lot more TLC after processing.”

BET beauties, how do you feel about the return of the granny gray look? We dig it, but want to know what you think in the comments below!
