Coachella, scratch that, “Beychella,” was by far the best festival performance of 2018. Consider all others canceled if it’s not headlined with Queen Bey herself.
We mean how many performers can have an iconic festival unofficially renamed to match her presence? We’ll wait.
Taking center stage like the royalty she is, Beyoncé slayed the stage at the 2018 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival Weekend (April 13) in Indio, California.
As expected, Yoncé turned up the heat with her formation-style experience (performance), with top-notch music, killer dancing and custom-designed fashions—but unexpectedly, the trending topic on Twitter was her nails.
Yeah, you read that right.
The Beyhive quickly took to Twitter after noticing that Bey not only changed costumes during her set, but she also appeared to have changed her nail color mid-performance.
Many began to note that some of the photos that surfaced showed her in black nails during the beginning of the performance and silver nails towards the end.
Our jaws dropped. See the receipts below:
Did Bey just change the game forever? We had to get to the bottom of this. Thanks to Buzzfeed, we think we might have an answer:
"That's when I realised that every other professional photo I'd seen of the performance came from Beyoncé's website."
Aha! Makes sense, the photos on Beyonce’s site with the metallic silver nails were from a dress rehearsal—sans crowd. But, if you watch the full performance from Saturday, you will see that her nails actually stay black.
Sadly, while she is super human (and a mom of three!) even Beyoncé can't make polish dry in a snap. However, we aren't mad at the idea! Can someone invent this or nah?
