Rihanna just might be the fashion industry's most valuable trendsetter. Of her tendancy to try out daring looks that might make other squirm, she once said of trends, "If it's in a magazine, it's probably too late." We couldn't agree more. Which is why instead of turning to the industry's idea of what's hot and what's not, we're confident that turning on RiRi's Instagram post notifications will afford you better insight into what you should be wearing.
Case in point: this weekend's major all-pink-everything look.
While some may be concerned that #MillennialPink and mono outfits are on their way out, Rihanna has declared they are not going anywhere. Thank Rihzus, because this is our entire fall shmood!
Take all the time you need to look at the above photo and let the power of Rihanna's existence on this green earth heal you. Healthy admiration for our idols — that is to say, not comparing ourselves to them — is a legitimate form of self care, in our opinion. Like, our chakras feel realigned from staring at this fantastic RiRi 'fit for five minutes.
Rih spread love the Brooklyn way while out and about in the borough by lifting the spirits of all who laid eyes upon her rocking the romantic hue. If it is your dream to recreate this look as it is ours, welp, it'll cost you.
The bubble gum-colored jumpsuit RiRi wore was designed by Rosie Assoulin and rings in at $2,695. Her Gucci stilettos retail for $695. Though her fun, fuzzy crossbody purse has yet to be identified, this fit costs at least $3,390. Sheesh!
Blinded by RiRi's beauty, we had a momentary lapse in memory recall and nearly forgot about her recent major Fenty Beauty drop. A dedicated member of the #Navy, however, let nothing slip by him. Noticing her dramatic lippie, a fan questioned if the shade belonged to her. Her response: "Whatchu think boo?"
So now we know that Rihanna is actively working to expand her line while still celebrating its first week in existence. What, you thought Gloss Bomb would be her only lippie offering? Pfft!
Shout out to the super sleuth fan who got the scoop on her beauty line expansion. It really does go down in the DMs, folks!
