See How La La Shut Down Howard Homecoming In A Short Wig And Shorter Mini Dress

Because October means #HoCoSZN!

Ms. La La Anthony headed down South to our nation's capital to host Homecoming celebrations at her alma matter, Howard University. The HBCU kicked off its annual festival, somewhat controversially dubbed the "Black Coachella," with performances including Rick Ross and Wale. It was announced last week that La La would be the grand marshal for Howard's 150th HoCo.

“Howard has always been a significant part of who I am, from adolescence to my professional adult life,” La La said in a press release. “I continue to carry all the amazing lessons and experiences with me. This year, being the 150th Howard Homecoming, it feels great to come back and I am extremely honored to serve as grand marshal.”

LaLa did not come to play, though, judging by her HoCo looks.

LaLa brought her superior fashion sense to the 202 wearing nothing but designer to a festivity in which she, no doubt, got some beer tossed on her. We mean, Yeezy is meant to look "lived in," so perhaps it was more of a well-thought out plan than an oversight?

The District, not necessarily known for its fashionistas, was reinvigorated by La La's looks, which included, as previously mentioned, a head-to-toe Yeezy look, most of which is now sold out, save for this knit skirt, which is currently on sale for a cool $336!

La La also pledged her allegiance to the Wang Gang while in D.C. in this $835 check-panelled mini dress. This look holds a special place in our heart, as we, too, once roamed the U Street Corridor in thotty, black, spandex dresses. This 'fit is a high-fashion upgrade on the old classic, and perfectly on-brand for the occasion.

La La may not be in school anymore, but she's hotter than ever in these looks!
