The Legendary Anita Baker Is Honored With a Lifetime Achievement Award
It’s here, y’all! The Migos video for "Motorsport" dropped last night on Tidal and the internet went HAM. Nicki Minaj and Cardi B were, of course, the source of the madness. The female rappers changed lives wearing revealing, custom looks fit only for the baddest. Let’s dissect, shall we?
First up, "Trap Selena," a.k.a. Cardi:
Styled by Kollin Carter and wearing a custom green, black, and white Bryan Hearns deep "v" one-piece, Cardi spit her verse as she showed off her goods dancing on a red sports car in front of boo Offset. And it was only fitting to pair the look with matching Fenty x Puma over-the-knee boots from Rihanna’s SS18 collection — if you recall bad gal Rih started and ended her SS18 show with BMX motorists. Cardi wore a chunky chain necklace and rep’d a powerpuff girl with a diamond "Buttercup" necklace.
Next up, "Barbie," a.k.a. Nicki Minaj:
Styled by Brett Nelson, Nicki made her debut in metal couture by Manuel Albarran and VEX latex metallic panties. Her look was accessorized with Lynn Ban jewels and $950 Yeezy Transparent PVC Tubular Boots. But the biggest accessory might have been her pink floor length "lemonade" braids.
TBH the main thing we got out of both of these looks is BAWDY, proportions are out of control. We weren’t ready tho.
