While some may wish to have their mug shot removed from the face of the earth (unless you're #PrisonBae), Zonnique choose to wear hers as a fashion statement.
See how the Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta reality star chose to twin with a friend in a T-shirt with her mug shot on it:
Captioning the Instagram photo “accidentally packed the same fit,” we can’t help but think 22-year-old singer may have been light-heartedly confessing her regret for carrying a .380 Ruger semi-automatic pistol in her purse the day of her arrest.
"I was running really late to the airport, so I was throwing a lot of stuff into my purse so I could get there and the gun is really small and it was in the bottom of my purse," she told toofab. "I just forgot it was in there. I couldn't see it, so when I went through security check, they pretty much found it."
"I told [the TSA] they could throw it away," she added with a laugh referring to the gun purchased by her mom, "but that wasn't what they wanted to do."
To Zonnique's surprise the response to her mug shot was not as bad as she thought.
"I thought that I was gonna have a lot of bad reaction to the whole story, but people were pretty much just drawn to the mug shot," she shared. "At least there's a plus side to some negative things!"
It does bring up an interesting conversation.
