Bad Gal For Lyfe!: Rihanna Slays The Cover Of Garage Magazine, But Still Has The Navy Demanding New Music
Rihanna is slaying yet another magazine cover. This time for the September cover of Garage magazine. The issue is titled “The Human Future.” It features a full editorial spread of RiRi along with the cover, where she looks stunning in a pink 3D floral top, black Dolce & Gabbana boy-shorts and some slinky sandal heels by Y/Project. And of-course sis has a full beat from her Fenty Beauty line. This superstar is literally glowing from head to toe like a real-life goddess.
“Rihanna is perhaps our most human of pop idols—unguarded, miraculously vital, perfect in her imperfections—making her the consummate subject for Deana,” said Mark Guiducci, editor-in-chief. The spread was photographed by Deana Lawson, a Black female photographer from upstate New York, and styled by Carlos Nazario. This is Lawson’s first magazine cover and fashion spread, and we must say that sis slayed this shoot.
The overall mood of the shoot is very vintage inspired, with textured wallpaper and gold accented chairs along with floral carpets and pictures of Rihanna as a child spread out across the room.
RiRi gave fans a sneak peak of the behind the scenes. Take a look below.
The 30-year-old superstar is photographed in a range of designers for this spread. She is seen below in a bubble gum pink ruffle and feather Alexander McQueen dress and royal blue lipstick along with killer gold embroidered long nails.

We’re glad Black Girl Magic is still sprinkling the September covers. In front, and behind the scenes. But RiRi, the fans want to know, WHEN IS THE NEW MUSIC COMING?!
