The relationship between celebrities and their glam squad is probably most important, yet most challenging one. Hairstylists and makeup artists keep our favorite celebs looking right, so they have to be trust worthy and be a talented individual. But, just like any relationship, people fall out and eventually cut ties with one another.
Recently, Megan Thee Stallion set her makeup artist straight for trying to call her out on Instagram over not getting credit for a Vogue video, and of course the Kardashian's have had plenty public spats with former members of their glam squad.
Take a look below at some of the most public beauty break-ups!
Megan Thee Stallion's former fashion stylist, E.J. King took to Instagram to explain to his followers that he and Meg are no longer working together. He would like to focus more on himself and his brand.
"I want to more TV, I want to do more for me, for my brand. I don't want to work under somebody. I never want to work for someone who makes you feel like what you do for them is disposable," say's EJ in his video. He continues, "When you work for people, personally, sometimes they like to forget that you are your own person. I provided a service." He closes out with wishing Meg and her team all the best.
We wish E.J. all the best in his future styling projects!
Kim Kardashian had a very public spat with her longtime friend and former mua, Joyce Bonelli. The family stopped following the famed makeup artist on Instagram after it was rumored that they fired her. However, Joyce made a statement to Us Weekly denying rumors of ever being fired. They must've made up because she has since attended Kanye's Sunday Service in LA, posing for photos with Kris Jenner.
Our resident Hot Girl has a team of guys who keep her looking snatched! From hair, style, and makeup, Meg's crew is very public about working with her. Well, yesterday (Oct 22), Meg posted her Vogue video, and according to her makeup artist, Akil McCoy, he allegedly didn't get the credit he deserves. The duo had a brief disagreement on Instagram where Meg felt that it could've been resolved via text instead of in front of the world.
You don't want to rumble with Cardi B, because you will not win! Back in 2018, makeup artist, Blacswan made claims about Cardi's behavior after working with her on two separate occasions in 2017. The Houston based MUA made a YouTube video accusing Cardi of having a "bad attitude" and allegedly throwing her out of her hotel room. Well, Cardi went on an Instagram live to let her fans know that what was said simply wasn't true. Cardi explained that the makeup artist came late and "didn't do good job," to the point that her publicist had to go to the drug store to buy products for a redo.
Nicki Minaj, Kylie Jenner, Kim K, Beyoncé and Cardi B all had something in common; Hollywood hairstylist, Toyko Styles. Although he still works with Kylie and Cardi, Nicki and Toyko allegedly ended up going their seperate ways after a scheduling dispute for a music video.
