Black Hollywood stars have historically used fashion and beauty to send political messages on the red carpet. With all the hatred and chaos continuing to spread across the world, the 2020 Emmy Awards was no different. 

Using their haircuts and fashion choices, some of your favorite celebrities found a way to showcase their solidarity for the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement.

    Sandra Oh showed her support for the BLM movement by wearing a bomber jacket with the words "Black Gives Are Precious" written in Korean.

    Insecure actress Yvonne Orji enlisted the help of barber Mickey West-Potts to perfectly sculpt a BLM fist onto her head, while celebrity hairstylist Mary Daniels completed the look with natural curls.
