The nominations are in, the performers are confirmed, and we’re predicting lots of neon fashions on the red carpet at this year’s BET Awards! From bright statement-making yellows to striking greens, we wouldn’t be surprised to see some of our favorite stars participating in the 80s-inspired craze.
As we countdown to Culture’s Biggest Night Out, we decided to highlight some of the best neon looks we spotted on the BET Awards carpet over the years. From Kerry Washington dazzling in a chic neon-colored dress to Cliff Vmir rocking a bold neon suit, see how these stars aced the trend.
2011: Kerry Washington
Kerry Washington knows how to own the step-and-repeat.
