It was 2001 when the first annual BET Awards took place at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. Surprisingly, that was nearly 20 years ago! 

Since the beginning, celebrities from the worlds of music, acting, and sports have blessed the star-studded event dressed in their best fashions.

You know what they say: accessories can make or break the outfit.

So, as we gear up to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the BET Awards (virtually on Sunday, June 28, 2020, at 8 pm est), we've decided to highlight some of the best accessories spotted on the BET Awards red carpet over the last 19 years.
