October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and plenty of our favorite fashion and beauty brands are supporting the cause. While most are familiar with the pink ribbon motif, many brands are supporting Breast Cancer Awareness this month by donating proceeds from sales to various organizations like Susan G. Komen, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and Bright Pink. These organizations help fund research, treat patients, spread awareness, and offer other various forms of support for this important cause.
According to the World Cancer Research Fund International, breast cancer is the most common cancer in women and the second most common cancer overall. However, Black women are 42% more likely to die from the disease than their white counterparts, according to Cancerhealth.com. So here at BET we wanted to highlight brands who have committed a portion of their sales, if not all, to various organizations working toward finding breakthroughs in treatment and prevention for October and beyond.

Mango is once again partnering with the FERO Foundation to celebrate International Breast Cancer day, which takes place on Oct. 19. The brand is offering a collection made up of t-shirts for both men and women as well as a cosmetics case. All sales will be donated to the FERO Foundation, which is dedicated to oncological research. Mango and the FERO Foundation have been working together since 2008 and together the two have launched a collection specifically to celebrate International Breast Cancer Day since 2017. The collection will be available on Mango.com starting Oct. 19. The T-Shirt's are $29.

Athletic Propulsion Labs (APL) is donating 20% of the sales price of the APL's Women's Techloom Tracer Training Shoes in soft pink to the Women's Cancer Research Fund, a program of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The $230 sneakers are available on www.athleticpropulsionlabs.com.
Roxanne Assouline is launching a limited edition pink bracelet set, which will be sold exclusively on roxanneassoulin.com. Luxury shoe designer Roger Vivier is also participating in Breast Cancer Awareness month by partnering with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Roger Vivier will donate 10% of each sale of its Pink Flower Strass Pumps to BCRF. The French footwear brand has pledged to fund 200 hours of breast cancer research this year. Guess has partnered with the Get in Touch Foundation to create a limited editition watch. Marcolin will be making a flat donation to the Get in Touch Foundation and Sequel will be donating 20% of the sale proceeds to The Get In Touch Foundation. The sparkling pink analog watch is $95 at guess.com.
Ruthie Davis will give 20% of the proceeds for every sale of its #wordsofencouragement heel to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (or NBCF). The $598 pink heel will be available in extended gender-fluid sizing from sizes 35-42 on Ruthiedavis.com for the month of October.
From now until October 31st, SENREVE is pledging to donate 20% of net proceeds to WCRF on select pink items inclusive of handbags, cashmere, slippers, and small leather goods.
