The Future Is Here In The Form Of Google's New Translation Headphones

These earbuds translate a whopping 40 languages!

Game changing technology is really buzzing this year, especially after the releases of the iPhone 8 and Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Now Google has announced they'll be releasing headphones that can actually translate up to 40 languages in real time.

During Google’s 2017 launch event on October 4, one of their new products was the Google Pixel Buds headphones. As a response to Apple Earpods, Google introduced wireless headphones that can do more than just provide clear audio for your music.

The unique headphones provide help from Google Assistant with just one touch. So instead of speaking into your phone or searching the internet for an answer, you can pretend to be 007 and speak with the buds in your ear.

Undoubtedly, the best thing about these micro spy-like earbuds is the multilingual feature. The folks at Google just solved our traveling issues by providing a personal translator to accompany you on your international excursions. No more settling for the hamburger because you have no clue what the specials are that your French waiter is reciting.

For example, you'd hold down on the right earbud and say, “Help me speak French.” As you talk, the Pixel phone’s speaker will play the translation in French out loud. When the waiter responds in French, you’ll hear the translation through your Pixel Buds. Genius.

The buds come in three colors — Just Black, Clearly White and Kinda Blue — and will be available in November just in time for the holidays for only $159. For international travelers who decide to forgo the language lessons, this will be a great investment.
