It’s no wonder that Beyoncé jumped at the opportunity to assist those in need after the devastation brought on by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria. The R&B songstress has been giving back to the less fortunate since the tender age of 10.
According to PageSix.com, Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles dished on her daughter’s philanthropic efforts during an upcoming appearance on The Doctor's. “They [Solange and Beyoncé] were feeding the homeless when they were 5 and 10,” Knowles explained. “Solange was on bread and Beyoncé did silverware.”
Grateful to see that her daughter’s have still kept up their charitable spirits, Knowles continued, “It’s just something that if you instill in them, I’m so proud because they’re still caring now.”
Aside from offering support through her BeyGood foundation, Bey recently teamed up with her home pastor Rudy Rasmus of St. John’s United Methodist Church, to serve to those affected by the recent natural disasters.
