Diddy And French Montana Share Their Signature Cocktails For Your Next Lituation

Plus, see how the mogul is using CÎROC to define Black excellence.

Published November 20th

By now you’ve seen the new CÎROC French Vanilla commercial featuring the man behind the brand himself, Diddy, French Montana and slew of other stars: DJ Khaled, Monica, Dej Loaf, Cassie, Ashanti — the list goes on. You probably remember it as that commercial break during the premiere of Gucci Mane & Keyshia Ka'oir: The Mane Event, where Ashanti slayed #bodygoals and everyone looked like they were having the best f**king time ever while sipping the brand’s latest flavor inspired by Diddy's Bad Boy bestie, French. If there’s one thing apparent, it’s that Diddy (or Brother Love, we’re still notsure how to address him), works hard and plays just as hard. Hello, there’s a reason why he nabbed the No. 1 spot on Forbes' Five: The Richest in Hip-Hop of 2017.

Diddy shared with BET.com how he defines success and Black excellence. “To me, success is all about looking beyond your circumstances to achieve the impossible. That takes boldness and dedication,” he said. “Each time we expand the CÎROC family, we look for people who can lead by example and pave the way for the next generation. French Montana is one of those people — he is unafraid to celebrate life, he dreams big, works hard and defines his own success."

“When you work with someone like Diddy, it's about more than sales or getting your name out there,” said French Montana. “He looks at everything from an investment in the future of our culture and we all have to own our part in being a better example for the next generation, that means working harder and celebrating responsibly. Whether it’s the music I am working on or developing my own flavor of CÎROC, he wants me to win as a testament to hustle.”

To further his message about creating opportunities for and inspiring others, the makers of CÎROC committed to donating $1 for each bottle of CÎROC French Vanilla produced, up to $100,000, to Mama Hope, a non-profit organization in support of global entrepreneurship as a path to ending extreme poverty. Always one to share his hustle, Diddy decided to match the brand donation, totaling a $200,000 collective contribution. Diddy explained, “A new day is coming. We are taking responsibility for ourselves. That is what CÎROC represents. CÎROC represents the hustle. CÎROC represents inclusive. You don’t have to be Black to drink CÎROC, but have to know the motivation behind what we are doing. It's for us all to excel!”
