On Saturday morning, just one day before her 38th birthday, self-proclaimed "Selfie Queen" Kim Kardashian took to the 'gram to show off the luxe way her rapper hubby, Kanye West, decided to kick off her birthday weekend—and it definitely has the Yeezy-effect written all over it.
Surrounded by flowers, Kim happily showed off Kanye's surprise, which included colorful floral arrangements that filled the rooms of their Hidden Hills, California, mansion, as well as a pianist who perfectly serenaded the birthday girl.
“This is what I wake up to, guys,” she shared on her Instagram Story.
Clearly loving her sweet surprise, Kim shared a series of videos expressing her delight.
“Kanye’s the most creative when it comes to sending me flowers for my birthday!” she wrote on the IG video with multiple heart emojis. “Love you so much babe.”
"@KimKardashian You’re stunning," Kayne opened up a tweet to his wife before adding, "I will keep trying to make things that can express how beautiful you are inside and out and how much I love you and our family."
In the meantime, on Saturday night, Kanye's ex, Amber Rose, celebrated her 35th birthday with a surprise birthday party planned by her new bae, Def Jam Records exec Alexander "AE" Edwards.
Surrounded by friends, family and her 5-year-old son, Sebastian, the Halloween-themed party decorated by Loriann Serna looked like it went off without a hitch thanks to Lysa, who ensured the house party was equipped with soul food by Chef E Dubble, drinks by Ciroc, a Hellraiser-style cake by Sweet Stacks Cakery, and even Pinhead.
Clearly, MUVA enjoyed the party, taking to the 'gram to share her excitement.
"My sweetheart threw me a surprise birthday party with my closest friends. thank you, baby," she wrote, walking around the party.
We think it's safe to say it pays to have a bae who loves to make you smile. Kudos to the men, because it looks like both ladies enjoyed their big days!
